For decades, society and media have defined what perfect beauty is. It's everywhere we look on magazine covers, in movies, the fashion industry. The pressure on women, especially young women of late, has been quite strong to look a certain way in order to be considered beautiful. And sexy. The 'industry' has always been defining what is beautiful and doing a great job of promoting that. I have felt the pressure too. That our self worth and value was tied to how we look, how sexy we are. Well, I don't want to be a cookie cutter product. I will define my own beauty, thank you!
Individual, unconventional, non-traditional, quirky, off beat...that's who I am and is reflected in how I dress, how I wear my hair, the things I do. Define your own beauty. And when you are who you really are, the happy glow you feel on the inside will show on the outside. And THAT my friends, is beauty perfection!!
